United We Always has Organized the free Food Camp for poor people in Amritsar Punjab(India) On date 03-01-2009.This Event Organized by Harry Singh volunteer from Berkeley - CA (USA).This Event was appreciated by local community members and business professionals .
United We Always visited the facility , global institute of childhood disability at Amritsar ,Punjab(India) and committed that UWA will help the institute for physical therapy machines and other projects which will help the institute to grow for the better hood of children with special needs.
United we Always reached out at Amritsar Public School in Amritsar ,punjab(india) and donated books to top three students of each classes and also made commitment that UWA will help the school for more projects like computer training and scholarship programs in future.
United We Always ,Volunteer Bhupinder Singh met 90 Years old senior citizen, Who has hearing problem and other health issues.UWA has made commitment to provide hearing Aid to the senior citzen Mr. Sawan Singh
United We Always visited at Pingalwara in Amritsar(India) where we witnessed near about 450 kids, women and men who are mentally and physically challenged and need lots of assistance like psychotherapy. After talking to the administrator we found that they need some latest equipment for this therapy Also we found that there are two twin boys who are 6 yrs old have only two legs but joint with each other in one body UWA have decided to help these kids for the basic needs and other medical assistance.
Volunteers of UWA,Harpreet Singh,Ravinder Singh and Maninder Kaur took effort to distribute free food in Chandigarh-Punjab(India) to poor people,who are living in small huts in the cold weather.
On the event of Jan-26-2009 (Republic Day) UWA distributed hundreds of First Aid boxes to residents of Amritsar-Punjab(India) at this event residents were advised to keep First Aid kit at homes to cure small injuries before any infection took place at later stage.
1 .Every member of board and volunteers should be CPR/First Aid, Fire/Earth quake survival trainimng and Public health safety training.
2 . Free food camp will be held at Berkeley, CA USA near city hall grounds very soon.
3 . Volunteers will participate in next Coastal cleanup day in Berkaley, CA.
4 . We need more Volunteers locally and internationally.
5 . Christmas in April will be held on April 25,09 at Berkeley, CA ( One day home improvement ) project for elderly / wheel chair bound residents or for low income residents.

UWA hosted another Free Food Camp at village Chaju Majara on 7-2-09 near Chandigarh , India.The volunteers Ravinder singh and Maninder Kaur, took some time off from their bussy schedule and reached out to poor residents in the village, chaju majara, where these poor people and thier kids live in small huts made of bamboo stick and very thin cloth. UWA is committed to host such camps in rural parts of India in near future. We are looking for more volunteers who might be interested to join this organization and help the poor and needy.
Sikh Temple of El-Sobrane, CA , organized a Wellness fair where hundreds of local residents vist the fair. Physicians of various trades set up the mobile clinic and Flue shots were provided to Kids and Seniors. Red cross also offered their services and Fire Dept. offered CERT classes for the community.Volunteers helped the Seniors and Kids for various projects.Food was provided by the Temple. This event was appreciated by the local community.
Berkeley CA Aug 30,09 Effort was made by residents of Berkeley CA, in Coordination with Council Member Darrel Moore from Berkeley to donate Hundereds of canvas bags to parents and staff of Rosa Parks School. This awareness project was organised by United We Always org. with support of Harry Singh, Human Welfare Commissioner Berkeley CA. This Idea was appreciated by many residents of Berkeley to reduce Plastic groceroy bags to protect environment.
Richmond CA, On dec 27,2009 a Vigil was organised for Kalsi brothers who were murdered at their Restaurant. Hundereds of neighbors attended the event and community demanded for Justice to the family of the victims. This case was brought to the attention of City authorties, but there was no help from City officials and was told they don't have funds to recruite special detectives to resolve the case. Some Interest was taken by Council Member,Nat Bates who introduced some members of Community to the Police Chief and City manager but all in vein. Thanks to Mr.
Richmond CA Member Legislative Assembly, Mr. Jassi Khungra from India was contacted to help Indian Community living abroad, who faces problems in India regarding their lands were accured illegally and no action taken by local authorities in India was addressed to Mr. Jassi. Mr. Jassi promised to help and ask us to contact his office any time and he will do the best he can to help our Community.
Richmond CA. HaRRY Singh,Commissioner (Parks & Recreation), inspected the Richmond parks for any Public Safety concerns. Some of the parks have some safety concerns which was mentioned to Commission for the Improvement.
CA Harry singh, reached out to Richmond residents, who have concerns about sfety and latest Medical Marijuana facilities opened in Richmind. As said by Singh, that about Public Safety we need more Police on the streets and to Install more Cameras on Public places like parking lots/ churches and small businesses. Singh mentioned that Marijuana licences should not be more than three in the city and all patients needs background check by Police Chief.
